Liam shows perseverance in EMX250 Grand Prix Lommel

Empty, that description comes the closest to how Liam felt after two races on this brutal sand track of Lommel! Before the race a lot of eyes, if not all eyes were on him! The Belgian hope for a podium finish in the EMX250 class! The crowds expectations went only up after a great qualification where he was the fastest in Group2. Being the fastest in his group meant that Liam could pick a starting gate as second!In the first heat Liam reacted a bit late when the gate fell. Liam looks forward to EMX250 race in Lommel

We’re two rounds into the EMX250 championship and Liam has shown flashes of brilliances! After a difficult first Grand Prix in Matterley, finishing ninth overall, he excelled at the Dutch EMX250 GP in Oss! In the first heat, a little crash withheld him from a podium place finishing in fifth, in the second heat he lead the pack for almost the entire race just to finish in second! For the third round of the championship, the brutal Belgian sand track of Lommel is knocking at the door! Liam lands on the podium in second EMX250 GP of 2021!

Oss, in North Brabant has a rich motocross history. Back in 1989, in the rookie season of father Stefan Everts, Oss was already on the World Championship calendar. But the track hadn’t seen World Championship Motocross action now since 1998. Back than it was the Italian Alessio Chiodi who took the win. But neither of the EMX250 riders was already born back then, so they where here to write their own history. In time-practice Liam noted a fifth time in his group, this resulted in a tenth place starting gate. When the gate dropped for the first heat, Liam found himself just hanging inside the top ten. Liam Everts gets top ten in first EMX250 Grand Prix!

Past weekend Liam started in the first EMX250 Grand Prix of the season. This race was contested on the beautiful track of Matterley Basin in Great Britain! The highly anticipated first EMX250 race weekend started with a fifth time in Qualification Group B for Liam. That resulted in a tenth starting gate. When the gate dropped for the first heat, Liam took a great start! After a few laps Liam settled himself into sixth. Uddevalla strengthens Liam' confidence

Last weekend Liam Everts was on the starting list for the third and fourth race of the Swedish championship. Both races held at the iconic Uddevalla track! The young KTM rider started his weekend with a sixth place in the timed qualifying sessions. But this more than decent qualifying result did not manifest itself into a great start in the first heat. Quite the opposite happened. Just a few meters over the starting gate Liam touched a fellow competitor and lost all his momentum, and started mid pack.After some smart moves Liam found himself already in eleventh position after one lap.
