This was it for Liam Everts and his 2021 season!

A few weeks ago Liam made a great impression in the Italian dunes of Riola Sardo where he made his World Championship debut in the MX2 class. After that race the focus went back to the EMX250 championship. This championship had still six races to go. We fast forward to the last two Grand Prix races for the EMX250 class in Mantova. Sadly for Liam it all went wrong in time practice. Due to an unlucky crash Liam fell straight onto his shoulder. On first sight it looked like it was only serious muscle pain. Liam Everts makes great debut in MX2 World Championship!

Past weekend, Liam Everts made his debut in the MX2 class of the World Championship Motocross. This he did at the MXGP of Sardegna in Riola Sardo, where a brutal sand track throughout the dunes was waiting on the riders.Because of the Fesh-Fesh type of sand, this track has an extra level of difficulty. Finding a good rhythm or the fastest lines isn’t always as easy because lines where always changing and ruts just disappear in this very thin beach sand. Liam Everts ready for his debut in MX2 World Championship!

Upcoming weekend Liam Everts will make a next step in his, still very young, career. The 17 year old Belgian will make his debut in the MX2 World Championship. This 50 years after his grand-dad Harry who made his debut in 1971 (October 3). and 15 years and 2 days after dad Stefan’ last World Championship race of his career (September 17; 2006). For grand-dad Harry the mythical place to start his successful world championship career back in the day was Launsdorf in Austria. Liam shows perseverance in EMX250 Grand Prix Lommel

Empty, that description comes the closest to how Liam felt after two races on this brutal sand track of Lommel! Before the race a lot of eyes, if not all eyes were on him! The Belgian hope for a podium finish in the EMX250 class! The crowds expectations went only up after a great qualification where he was the fastest in Group2. Being the fastest in his group meant that Liam could pick a starting gate as second!In the first heat Liam reacted a bit late when the gate fell. Liam looks forward to EMX250 race in Lommel

We’re two rounds into the EMX250 championship and Liam has shown flashes of brilliances! After a difficult first Grand Prix in Matterley, finishing ninth overall, he excelled at the Dutch EMX250 GP in Oss! In the first heat, a little crash withheld him from a podium place finishing in fifth, in the second heat he lead the pack for almost the entire race just to finish in second!
