What looked like a clean fracture at first, turned out to be an annoying injury. On Monday, Liam met doctor m.d. Claes to get his injuries examined, sustained past Saturday at the EMX125 race in Faenza. Besides the already known injuries, the screening didn’t show any other injuries.
On the other hand, we got good news about the other injuries. At second glance the wrist wasn’t dislocated. However Liam broke his right radius, but this does not need any surgery. Liam wears a cast at the moment and his arm will need approximal 6 weeks’ to heal. Meaning that Liam will be unable to contest the Grand Prix in Lommel.

In the beautiful scenery of Faenza, all young and promising riders came together to race the second round of the EMX125 championship. The leader in this championship was, after his dominating win in Matterley Basin, no one else then Liam Everts. In timed qualifying, Liam showed promising speed, putting a fifth time on the clocks. In the first moto the Yoko-rider started in the top 5 in the first heat.
