I just finished my second race of the Italian International Championship at Arco di Trento and I want to give you a quick report of the day.
The training started pretty good this morning. The feeling on the bike was good and managed to get the 2nd time in my group.
The first heat of the day was OK. It wasn’t great, but I didn’t get into any trouble and got a 5th place in the end.
Unfortunately the second heat didn’t go as good. I went down in the first lap when Simon Längenfelder crashed right in front of me. It was impossible for me to avoid him. I got back up and tried to get back to the front but I crashed again later in the race. It was a small crash, but at that point I was unable to make it back into the top 10. I finished the second heat in 14th place with an 8th place overall.
Too bad I didn’t get to finish the weekend with a better result, but my mind is already set on the first GP in Argentina now. The coming weeks leading up to that GP will be all about recovering and getting that good feeling back again.I’m confident and looking forward to Argentina!
